A Vision Brought to Life

The vision of the Jim H. McClung Lighting Research Foundation is to encourage creative thinking, scientific exploration and new solutions to old problems. The Foundation will be especially receptive to research that helps us better understand the effect of light on personal health, safety, productivity, lifestyle and satisfaction. In time, the application of this knowledge will improve designs, conserve natural resources, and inspire new light sources and optical theories. The lifelong work of Jim McClung will be continued.
